BECOMING — Art Greeting Cards

BECOMING

Original artwork by Angelica De Jesus

A small work of art, created to be given.

At first glance, BECOMING presents itself as an eye: colorful, restless, and intensely awake. Turn the composition, however, and another form begins to emerge. A line becomes a stem, the green forms become a leaf, and the pupil becomes a seed.

The eye represents perception, while the leaf represents growth. What we see and experience takes root within us, and what grows within us eventually changes the way we see.

The eye gives birth to the leaf, and the leaf gives birth to the eye.

Created from Angelica De Jesus' original artwork, these folded greeting cards transform that idea of growth and transformation into a message that can be shared with someone else.

Inside Message

Each card is printed with the following message inside:

“May what takes root within you
lead you closer to who you are becoming.”

The message reflects the heart of BECOMING: that what we experience can take root within us, grow, and become part of the person we are still becoming.

Thoughtful and intentionally open-ended, these cards can be given for birthdays, graduations, new beginnings, encouragement, personal growth, life transitions, or meaningful milestones.
