They are \u003cstrong\u003eclouds and wings\u003c\/strong\u003e, evoking Heaven, divine presence, and the \u003cstrong\u003ecloud of witnesses\u003c\/strong\u003e surrounding the Christian life. Yet their shape also recalls the \u003cstrong\u003eparting of the sea\u003c\/strong\u003e, opening a path where there seemed to be none. Within them can be seen the form of \u003cstrong\u003eNoah's Ark\u003c\/strong\u003e, another biblical image of passage, preservation, and salvation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTogether, these forms appear almost as a cloud being opened, a portal or passage with the Crucifix directly at its center.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEven the shadows beneath them move upward and inward, resembling a \u003cstrong\u003eroad disappearing into the distance\u003c\/strong\u003e. Everything in the composition draws the eye upward, like a way being opened, a path leading straight to Heaven.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbove the Crucifix, a series of curved lines takes inspiration from an unexpectedly modern symbol: \u003cstrong\u003ethe Wi-Fi signal.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat visual reference gives \u003cem\u003eSignum\u003c\/em\u003e its central metaphor.
